The family of Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, the highly respected Nigerian evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, has announced his passing. In an official statement released on Monday, the family revealed that the revered man of God peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 6, 2025, at the age of 80.

Describing his homegoing as a “Glorious Transition” from a life of service to eternal rest, the family celebrated his lifelong dedication to the gospel and his remarkable influence on the global Christian community. For over six decades, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai devoted himself to evangelism, teaching, and prophetic ministry—spreading the message of Christ with passion and purpose. His ministry reached millions across nations, transforming lives and nurturing faith across generations.

In a heartfelt tribute, the family stated: “He was a faithful soldier of the cross who devoted his life to spreading the gospel with passion and integrity. His teachings, prophetic insights, and mentorship have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire believers for years to come.”
